No, and I may not for a while. Unless I happen to see someone selling some ancient car for $1000 or less. Of course then it wouldn't last that long...

But basically, the only way I could buy a car would be if I had a job. And at boarding school, that's almost impossible (we're not allowed to have jobs off-campus). As for my parents-they've got to pay some for my college, so a car might be too much to ask for now.

I am enjoying it. I go back to Greenville this weekend though, and then classes start on Monday. Summer seemed to last forever, and then all of a sudden its almost gone.

I'm primarily considering USC and Winthrop. I've looked into some other art schools, but most of them are out of range in terms of price (my parents don't want me to take out much in the way of student loans for my undergrad, and save the loans for grad school). Even if I did get a scholarship, a lot of the expensive schools I'd considered (like RISD) are far enough away that the costs of traveling to see me and going home on breaks might negate a lot of the scholarship savings.

So it looks like it'll be in-state for me. But I got an SAT that qualifies me for Palmetto Fellows, so maybe that's a good thing. And Winthrop has an awesome art department.

You're taking Precal this next year, I guess?

I took it this past year. But this year I don't have any math classes because that was the last of my 4 credits. I have AP Chemistry though, so I'll still be doing "math".
