My Bleach OC. Yes, I know, I need to draw more canon characters. But I had to draw this one to get the idea out so it wouldn't drive me crazy.
The 172.5 cm tall (5'9) Shinobu is a shinigami of the 4th division, though she has ego issues and isn't quite content with that. Since she wants something better, she practices her zanpakuto and the kido she can do whenever she's not healing or on cleaning duty. She's easily irritated and is known for her mohawk hairstyle (she changes the color of the top every few days, but the reddish part of her hair is the natural color).
As for her skills, she's fairly gifted with healing, but not as much as some of the shinigami on her division; her skills lie in creating antidotes for poisons. She can also use some of the binding kido, but is rather hopeless at spells for the most part, other than healing. She's fairly skilled with her zanpakuto, but can't use flash steps, and is slowed somewhat because she has a prosthetic right leg.
Zanpakuto:
Shinobu's zanpakuto is Dokugiri (Poison Mist). When sealed, it resembles a chokuto style sword with purple beads wound around the top. Dokugiri's release command is "infect". When released, it turns into a standard scythe (see picture). As for its ability, it generates a thin vapor of toxic mist around itself when its ability is active. The mist is greenish-purple in color, and is most concentrated at the blade edge of the scythe. At the blade edge, the poison is most dangerous; a minor wound from the blade can cause flesh to slowly decay. However, in other nearby areas the poisonous vapors merely cause Shinobu's opponents to faint or impair their vision. Because of her lack speeds, its also very difficult for her to get a direct hit with Dokugiri's scythe blade.
The entire Bleach thing doesn't make much sense to me but She's quite amazing.

I mostly use youtube to watch music videos. Because when ever I want to watch someting on there it's taken down for copyright issues.

hehehe nice! I like her cool, serious expressions - you pulled them off very smoothly. The pose is a good one too, it's totally befitting for her badass atittood. >:E
I still wanna submit my rough ideas for Kawahime & her bro but they'd be pale in comparison to this dudette.

Thanks. You know, I actually like this colored pencil version better than the Photoshop coloring I was working on...but now that I've drawn a Bleach character, maybe I'll have an easier time shading a canon character in Photoshop, or if I draw Shinobu-chan again.
